About

Hi, my name is Angelina. I am a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh focusing on isotope geochemistry. I earned by B.S. and M.S. degrees in geology from Baylor University.

At Baylor, I had an industry-focused project focusing on the  depositional and post-depositional controls on reservoir quality and performance within the Early Jurassic Nordegg Member of the Fernie Formation, southern Alberta, Canada. During my master's, I was able to develop skills in core characterization, subsurface stratigraphic interpolation, petrophysical well log interpretation, and team collaboration.

At the University of Pittsburgh, I aim to further strengthen my research and laboratory skills and experience. As a first-generation college student, I greatly valued my education and have always had a passion to push myself beyond my own expectations. I am determined to see how far my hard work, passion, and experiences can take me in achieving my dreams.
